Comparing 3 Same Day photo printing Services

hello and welcome back to a sparkly pink

my name's Michelle and today I have

something a little bit different to

share with you I'm going to be reviewing

and comparing three same date 

photo printing services I went to Walgreens

Walmart and CVS I know there's probably

more out there I think staples even did

it but I thought those were the three

that maybe those across the United

States would be able to find most

commonly what does my camera doing hello

I just feel like those were the three

that across the United States everyone

could find the easiest and do a same-day

picture kind of photo printing now I want to

compare the same three photos to fill up

this cute little decor piece that I've

had in the quarter of my kitchen for a

little while it's just sitting there

empty and it needs a little sprucing up

so I have my copies here let's go over

to my kitchen table we'll open them up

we'll talk about pricing we'll talk

about the variety of the different sizes

that each door offered and how clear

they came out I feel like sometimes when

you do the same day photo printing it looks

like extra blurry or grainy or just like

cheap and I get that these are going to

be same-day photo printing and they do not cost

the same as professional pictures being

photo printing I get that but sometimes you

want things to look somewhat good so I'm

going to insert a little clip here

because I don't think I went over the

pricing and I want to make sure that

that was really clear so see he has we

spent five dollars and 11 cents Walmart

we spent two dollars and seven cents and

at Walgreens I spent two dollars and 39

cents so there's a three dollar

difference between CVS and the other two

it looks like Walmart and Walgreens are

pretty comparable price-wise I believe I

did use a coupon code when I bought the

CVS ones but let's see how they compare

to each other but before we get started

around let's go through the costs the

sizes and the quality of the pictures

I'm gonna tell you right off the bat I

am seeing a vast difference without even

looking like in detail looking depth

which we are going to do here in a

moment a vast difference at each of the

companies I'm going to put the photos

here all three of them that I'm going to

show you that I photo printing out again I did

take these with my phone they're not

like a professional photographer or

anything like that so keep that in mind

I wanted you to have a rush from this

point so that when we're looking at

these you know exactly what we're

looking at so let's start off with what

I think is probably just initial view

looking at these that the closest to how

it looked on my phone which is from CBS

and they were by far the more expensive

option of all of them I did use a

discount code I think it was like a

twenty or thirty percent off the only

weird thing is they kind of put a frame

on the beach shot I mean I don't know

that I'd necessarily mind it it kind of

looks kind of cool but I have no idea

why they did that it did not look that

way on the computer when I ordered it I

ordered two six by eight one five by

seven and one four by six and I did get

that so here is my two six by eight I

thought that was a unique size I don't

know that I had heard that before our

skin looks like skin it looks glowy and

it looks exactly like how I edit it on

my phone I just kind of like put a

filter on in Lightroom and this is our

four by City because I figured most

people if they're doing like a photo

album are going to get this size so I

feel like they're pretty comparable just

straight-up different sizes in photo printing and

then we have the one of us together it

was not the clearest of photos even on

my phone but I'm pretty happy with this

quality let me see if I can kind of turn

in the light here and show you like

we're not the clearest but I am totally

satisfied with this and I feel like the

beach looks exactly like how it does on

my phone I am really happy with these

right here now let's go over to Walmart

I'm very confused by what I got from

Walmart so let's start off with

what I ordered I ordered a five by seven

a four by six and two true digital's

okay so I figured it out so true

digital's which are they gave me

somebody else's pictures are four by

sixes so this is also a four by six

which is confusing yeah it has to be a

four by six it's the same size is that

one I'm missing that photo printing of us from

this order also can we look at the

quality and the difference in the

coloring when it comes to this sunset

picture look at how vastly different

this looks just like it does on my phone

and while this is still gorgeous what is

going on here the Sun or the sky is a

totally different color in both of the

pictures now quality wise the details

and the photos are there but weird same

three photos that I uploaded to each of

the websites

moving on to Walgreens and I want to say

this was the quickest turnaround I want

to say it didn't even take an hour to

get the email saying that the photos

were ready for pickup

we ended up going with a five by seven a

four by six and two four by five in

point threes I don't know what that

necessarily means I saw it on there and

I thought that was interesting I do like

that it shows what I was photo printing like

which one is which like the five by

seven is obviously the beach shot it's

almost like this one didn't get cut so

these two are my four by five point

three and this is my four by six which

makes sense that's on par with this one

here the beach again looks totally

different than the other two I'm gonna

lay them side by side here in a moment

but can we talk about how they left a

weird border here why wasn't this

trimmed why is it not on the same paper

as this one and I don't know it's just

weird it's random looks dull and I'm

hoping the camera is picking this up

let's put these side-by-side I wish I

had the Walmart one to show you but I

suppose we really just have CVS and

Walgreens to go off of here you know

what else I just

so is this the 6x8 so this is supposed

to be a six by eight these are five by

sevens and this one from CVS is a four

by six and this is the four by five

point three from Walmart do you see the

clarity and the color difference in the

face there this is bright and inviting

and it you know that's how I wanted the

picture to be some people may want their

pictures to look like this but this is

not what I ordered this is the same

exact photo printing I sent to each of the

companies here again Wow okay so that

makes sense as to why this has a border

I'm not sure why they didn't just blow

it up a little bit more this is supposed

to be a six by eight I paid three

dollars alone for this one picture I

mean it's beautiful and I like I said I

don't mind the border but it is a bit

discerning now let's do a side-by-side

of these Beach shots here we have CVS

Walmart and Walgreens again Walgreens is

dark and moody for some reason the

Walmart somehow added some pink things

going on there and the CVS is the

clearest to what I was going for what

these pictures again look at this color

of the sand it's different on every

single one and again the closest one to

the picture is the CVS wine so I guess

that the payoff is paying a little bit

more for the quality here again we're a

little bit more pink and we're a little

bit weirdly cloudy around the face both

of our faces look a little funky in this

shot this is very contrasted and dark

and moody this is again is the Walgreens

one I just I don't I don't get it I

guess it's the software they use the

photo printing machines that they use I don't

know all the technology or what goes in

behind the idea of this but we found

some weird things going on with these

photo printing so I would say stick with

the CVS if you have a CVS near you if I

haven't mentioned so already I'm

definitely going with the CVS ones I

feel like those were the best quality

let's see if I can do this one handedly

gonna stick some up here maybe have this

one kind of off to the side

I think this is so cute and simple I got

this on clearance at Kohl's I don't know

I'm really bad at doing that I'll

probably have to play around with them a

little bit more but that is somewhat of

the finished product there so there you

have it you can see the difference with

your own two eyes

between the Walgreens and the quality of

the CVS and Walmart just totally royally

screwing it up I mean I feel bad I add

these to people's photos they were

probably needing those for something or

looking forward to them I'm sure they've

reprinted them by now because I did

order these like a couple weeks ago I've

been sitting on them getting a little

lazy and getting behind out making my

content but let me know what you think

do you know of any other photo printing

companies or do you know when CVS runs

their deals so I can photo printing some more

photos I feel like I want to get back

into having like a little photo printing album on

my coffee table of all of our little

adventures you know I took the kids to

New York we've gone to California when

it comes time for our wedding I want to

be able to photo printing things and know that

I'm getting a quality product but not be

spending a ton of money cuz we're not

that fancy I don't need professional

photos photo printing all the time thank you so
